EZ-FLO Teams up with MegaGreen

Company of America (HCA) maker of the MegaGreen® and
MultiBloom® lines of organic fertilizer has recently joined
the EZ-FLO Alliance Partner Program. MegaGreen and MultiBloom are 100%
certified organic fertilizers made from farm raised catfish. Through a
highly specialized enzymatic processing technique, HCA is able to remove
offensive fish smells that plague most fish emulsion fertilizers. In
addition, since this process does not use heat, the resulting fertilizer has 17%
complex amino acids which are the principal source of organic nitrogen.
MegaGreen and MultiBloom fertilizers are used at the National Mall in Washington, DC and at Lincoln Financial Park, home of the Philadelphia Eagles.

EZ-FLO Awarded National Home Gardening Club's Seal of Approval
EZ-FLO
was recently awarded the Seal of Approval by this club for the EZ-FLO hose and
drip fertigation unit. The membership tested our unit and the results
appear in the July/August 2007 edition of Gardening How-To magazine.

EZ-FLO and ETwater Team up to Introduce Web-Powered Fertigation
At the 27th Annual Irrigation Association Show in San Antonio, ETwater and EZ-FLO unveiled their strategic partnership to introduce control over fertilizer dispensing through ETwater's Intelligent Water Management System and Smart Water Controllers. By offering an add-on module to its award winning ET controller package, ETwater continues to innovate and to provide value to customers looking to gain control over their water usage and fertilizing needs. ETwater's central servers can dynamically change fertilizing levels based on watering schedules to ensure appropriate results. With the ability to override pre-set conditions, users can also adjust fertilizing levels to meet their specific requirements. This control can be maintained through any computer connected to the internet. This functionality can be applied to any EZ-FLO fertilizing dispenser.

EZ-FLO Announces Two New Alliance Partners
We are proud to welcome Global Aqua Science and Turf Pro USA to EZ-FLO's Alliance Partner Program. Global Aqua Science manufactures two products, Soil Logic Pro Liquid "Gypsum"™ and Drought Defense™, two soil amendments. Liquid "Gypsum" is a calcium supplement that helps break down clay soils and increases plant health. Drought Defense is a moisture management product that helps trap water in the root zone until needed, thereby reducing water requirements, especially in drier, more arid climates.
In additional, Turf Pro USA has also joined the Alliance with their Turf Pro Plus 100% organic bio-stimulant. Turf Pro was endorsed by the EPA under its Design for the Environment Program for its use of green chemistry. This product is packed with plant loving acids (fulvic, humic and ulmic), micronutrients, carbon and beneficial microbes that allow property owners to use less fertilizer while significantly enhancing the health and beauty of turf and landscapes. Turf Pro is successfully used on scores of golf courses in the Eastern US and has the potential to become a significant soil conditioner as it gets further market exposure.
EZ-FLO Announces Alliance Partner Program
EZ-FLO is proud to announce the formation of its Alliance Partner Program. Alliance Partners endorse the use of their products in EZ-FLO dispensing systems. Companies included in the Alliance Partner Program include Ecological Laboratories (mosquito and algae control), Dr. Benson's Natural Mix (natural plant foods), Agri-Gro (bio-stimulants and mineral supplements), Grow More (water soluble fertilizers and supplements) and Plant Marvel (water soluble fertilizers and supplements). Our Alliance Partners sell many "best of breed" products and we enthusiastically endorse the use of their products in our systems.
EZ-FLO Debuts High Capacity Models for Larger Landscapes and Specialty Growers
At the Irrigation Association Trade Show on November 9, 2005, EZ-FLO introduced its new line of high capacity models. The new models allow for more dense filling of water soluble fertilizers (no need to fully solubulize the fill and it is best left in a concentrated slurry) in order to allow for extended refill times and greater coverage capacity than liquid fertilizers. Instead of fully solubulizing the fertilizers to full liquids, EZ-FLO allows the tank and cap to do the mixing, thereby avoiding the need for larger dilution tanks. Avalon Landscaping (AUS) Creates Water Smart Display Home
Avalon Landscaping, an authorized distributor of EZ-FLO products in Australia and New Zealand, has recently completed an HIA "Greensmart" Fairfield Waters display home. This display home integrates advanced state of the art products such as NETAFIM, Lawn Logic, KISSS and EZ-FLO into one innovative landscape package.
EZ-FLO Believes Everyone should "Fertilize Responsibly™"
You can join us in our crusade to change people's mindset concerning their antiquated fertilizing practices.
When we first trademarked this saying, we were seeing attempts to further regulate the use of fertilizers in some of our communities. We also saw areas of the country that were paying homeowners dollars per square foot to rip out their turf in order to save water. Both of these efforts attempt to address a specific problem. But in the end these actions have an unintended negative environmental consequences that no one has considered. Plantings have been shown to reduce carbon dioxide levels and also help to moderate temperatures in urban areas. Few would dispute that vibrant landscaping improves our overall quality of life. These regulations are meant to be good public policy but in our view they may not go to the heart of the real problem--Irresponsible Fertilizing Practices.
There is a belief that if you have turf, you cannot save water. And if you simply take out the turf, all will be well.
Because of the large runoff problems that exist around bays and lakes, some communities have banned or severely restricted fertilizing. Some have said that all fertilizers are bad and they have no place in that local ecosystem. So if they are banned, all will be right again.
This may be shortsighted. There are downsides to these single-minded regulations, no matter how well intended. The real issue to us is how do you get plants to fully utilize the fertilizer you supply them without contributing to fertilizer runoff? And how do you make a landscape vibrant and healthy so that it requires less water, not more?
We think we have an answer that helps; However it is NOT THE ONLY ANSWER. We know that if you migrate to proper fertilizing and watering practices you can save water and you can reduce fertilizer runoff without affecting the beauty of your landscape. Using water efficient irrigation methods including drip, ET and weather based controllers, rain sensors etc. can significantly reduce water usage. And EZ-FLO will provide additional benefits even when used with these equipment upgrades.
